SOCL Sub Stumbles Onto Sub Net

SOCL got a surprise today when one of their deep sea subs exploring the Blake Sea found an unexpected barrier. The Dutch Harbor sub net is a secret that few know, but is one of the ways that Dutch Harbor maintains its beautiful port.

“Deep draft ships with large displacement cause all manner of problems,” said a local fisherman, “pollution, scaring away fish, throwing flotsam – Dutch Harbor’s not open to sea traffic – just boaters.”

Another sailor joined our conversation. “Aye, na ya canna be ta carefll wit da water. All mann’r o’ t’ings liff undah dere!”
